SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin
SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin, or better known as SMADA, was established in 1965 with the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia Number 009/SK/ B.1165-66, September 3, 1965. SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin is one of the most favorite and largest high schools in Kalimantan South in terms of student capacity and land / building area. Based on 2014/2015 Academic Year data, there were 949 high school students in Banjarmasin with 949 students divided into 31 classes with heterogeneous socioeconomic backgrounds.
SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin has a characteristic, namely the Special Sports Class (KKO) which was opened in 2013. This Special Sports Class was intentionally created to facilitate gifted children in sports so that they can develop their talents in sports optimally.
Supported by the completeness of adequate facilities in accordance with education standards, SMA Negeri 2 Banjarmasin has been able to produce graduates who are able to have high competitiveness in various universities throughout Indonesia and become quality human resources based on the Science and Technology Science and Technology.1.2 School Insight

1.3 Teaching system
Banjarmasin State High School 2 has system teaching. They call “Problem Based Learning” It’s depend on the students. And teacher is guider. In the same way, we call “21st Education” Because; we focus on the students and help them to learn by themselves. Also supporting for lifelong learning.

1.5 Evaluation system
Measurement
Banjarmasin State High School 2 has post assessment system in every semester. And, depend on the classes. SMADA has 37 class. Science class, social science class and religion class. In the other hand, SMADA has rules that the students have to follow. Because, it’s also the measurement of students behavior. For example, in every month. Teacher has to check their dressing. Also their hair. (For boys)
So that, SMADA has two systems that can measure the students. First one is post examination in every semester. And the last one is measure the dressing of students.
Evaluation System.
For evaluation system, Banjarmasin State High School 2 involve to the international exam. And it’s depend on the student’s grade. But not for every student’s grade.
Grade 8: AKSI (survey, 2019- piloting 2017) Reading, mathematics, science (computerized test, multi formats) and background questionnaire
Grade 9: National exam and National standardized school exam (census, annually)Bahasa Indonesia, mathematics, science, English (100% from national center), civics, social science, religion (75% district)
Grade 10: AKSI (survey, 2020, piloting 2018) Reading, writing, math, physics, biology, chemistry, background questionnaire
Grade 12: National exam and National standardized school exam. Bahasa Indonesia, Math, English plus 1 subject of program study (15 choices for high school and 198 choices for vocational school-100 % from national center). Civic, religion (75% district)
Especially for 12 grade. They have to submit the examination before they go to the university. they can choose the programs that interested for continue studying in the university. SMADA also has student’s guidance room for help the students.

1.6 Curriculum
For general education, SMADA has general curriculum like public high school. And also keep the standard quality for create the best students for the university. SMADA has education standard for the students. And sport education for supporting the students who good at sporting.
